Here's what you can do on your vacation!

1. Experience living on the Ocean

Wake up every morning to the incredible views of the Northumberland Strait and the ever changing ocean front beach.

Time the tides to search for crabs, clams and oysters or just walk the length of the shoreline in complete solitude while you recharge your soul (... maybe pick up a few pieces of sea glass on your journey?)

Or better yet, sit and relax and do absolutely nothing for the day.

2. Enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise

The Beach House comes with four adult size mountain bikes and a bike rack for the guests to use as they please.

Take a bike ride around Cape Traverse or work your way to the Confederation Trail with its 100 km of trails across PEI.

Or you can simply challenge your group to walk the entire length of Cape Traverse at low tide, just be careful on the rocks around the point and watch out for the crabs!

3. Exploring what the Ocean has to offer

PEI has some of the best seafood (if not the best) on the planet and the ocean is always ready to delight visitors.

Whether you're interested in doing an excursion to fish Blue Fin tuna or learning about the farming of oysters, or perhaps you want to stay put and fish for Striped Bass right (fishing rods and rigs provided), or dig up bar clams on the sand bars, you can work for your dinner or.....

... you can simply go out to one of the many incredible restaurants on "Canada's Food Island!"

The Beach House is centrally located between Charlottetown (with great spots like the Sea Rocket) and Summerside, PEI two largest cities. It is also only 10 minutes away from Victoria-by-the-Sea, an active fishing village with some of the very best restaurants including the Lobster Barn, Richards and the Landmark Oyster Cafe. Or drive north to Rustico (35 minutes) and visit the Blue Mussel Cafe for some fresh oysters just off the boat (see pic to the left.)

Digging for Clams

A fun and exciting activity you'll never forget!

On a full moon when the tide is at its lowest you can dig buckets full of bar clams on Sunset Beach. Grab a shovel or clam digger and go get your dinner!

4. Touring the island

If you're looking to spend time touring the island, playing golf or going into the city you may need a large SUV. The OH team has two beautiful Lincolns available to complement your stay on the island.

5. Relax!

At the end of the day you come to PEI to relax, take in the ocean air and get away from the hustle and bustle of your daily life.

Sit back and read a good book or enjoy a fire to cap off a great day!
